Warranty

All parts have at least a one-year limited warranty (except for OEM CPUs) including parts and labor through Gen-X Tech. After the one-year warranty through Gen-X Tech, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.

Any discrepancy on the invoice, including shipping damage and incorrect items, should be reported within two working days of receipt.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return your purchase by contacting Gen-X Tech via support@genxtechcomp.com within five business days, starting on the date your shipment arrives. A Return Merchandise Authorization(RMA) number will be issued to you with shipping instructions. Order returns without RMA number will not be processed and will be returned to sender at his/her expense. You are entitled to 100% refund of goods purchased within five business days of receiving your order. Shipping or labor charges for assembly is not refundable. A 10% restocking fee will be charged after five days from the date of receiving. A 20% restocking fee will be charged after ten days from the date of receiving. Absolutely no refunds after 14 days.

All items returned for refund or exchange must be in new condition and contain all parts, cables and manuals. Absolutely no return or exchange on items that have been marked with magic marker or otherwise defaced, including manuals. No return or exchange if warranty seals have been tampered with. Alteration to parts by the customer without prior approval from Gen-X Tech may void overall warranty or any other extended warranty. If the product arrives DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must file a claim within five business days (starting on the date the shipment arrives) with our RMA department for either exchange or refund. Gen-X Tech reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product if the original model is no longer available or in stock. Customer is responsible for the return shipping charge of RMA item ship to Gen-X Tech.

All defective returns will be tested by Gen-X Tech technicians to verify the problem. Gen-X Tech does not offer cross ship replacements for RMA. RMA Department must receive the defective product back and test it before we will ship out another. All defective returns will be repaired or replaced at Gen-X Tech’s discretion. Please note that items are not warrantied if nature of return is due to non compatibility with your current system configuration. If found to be non-defective(99% of defective returns are), we will ship back to the customer at his/her cost and may charge a diagnostic fee ($60/hr).

Prior to any exchange or return, the customer must obtain an RMA number from the RMA Department. RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the day it was issued. All returns or exchanges must have a copy of the invoice with the RMA number as reference. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the shipping label of boxes containing returned products. Any product returned without an RMA number, incomplete (missing screws, grease, etc) or not in a resaleable condition (dirty, grease left on heatsink, missing boxes or paperwork), will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense. All items damaged or lost in shipping to Gen-X Tech are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend secure shipping method that provides proof of delivery(such as UPS or FedEx. Please insured all products that are shipped to Gen-X Tech.
